Ear
Correction Surgery, also know as Otoplasty, is a simple cosmetic
procedure and involves correcting, or reducing the protrusion
of the ears
Protruding ears can be a source of embarrassment and self-consciousness
for children and adults alike. Ear correction surgery is a very
straightforward procedure. Patients are usually between the ages
of four and fourteen however ear-surgery on adults is also available.
“My
ear’s are too Large” – many cosmetic surgeons
hear this during patient consultations and what people do not
realise is that the problem is not necessarily the size of the
ears but that they may stick out too far. In most cases pinning
the ears alongside the head solves the problem completely.
It is a concern
for children as well as adults. Ears that stick out make people
easy targets for teasing, jokes and nicknames. This is why often
the sooner in life it is carried out, the better. The procedure
can be carried out from an early an age as 4 or 5 years. The
ear correction surgery procedure offers dramatic, immediate
results that will last a lifetime.
Our ear correction
specialist advisors will gladly talk you through the procedure
and answer any questions you may have.
